A286® Alloy is an austenitic stainless steel making it ideal for fastener applications, manifold components in the oil & gas industry and superchargers, jet engines, fasteners and turbine components. Austenitic superalloy A286® can be hardened and strengthened by heat treatment and is used for applications at temperatures up to 1300¡ã F. A286® stainless can also be used for lower stress applications at higher temperatures.
